2019年江苏省理科状元市无锡市天一中学的郭宇涵同学、李心晔同学，2人总分均为436（满分480），并列全省第一；文科状元是海安高级中学的范雯同学，总分420分。

2019年江苏高考总分为480分。语文、数学每科卷面满分为160分，外语卷面满分为120分，语文、数学附加分为40分，满分为480分；特殊之处在于文科生会有40分的语文附加题，而理科生会有40分的数学附加题。

江苏省也并非只是只考核语数外三门主科，文理科的学生都需要选修两门课程。其中文科必选的是历史课，理科必选的是物理课。考生选取的两门文科或理科的副科，虽然在高考分数上没有体现，不过必须要达到规定的分值和标准，才能最终被高校录取。选修课分为五个等级，最高为A+，随后为A\B\C\D四级。
