高考英语作文的类型包括：书信类、看图写作文类、话题类等。

一，依用途分

1，指导性应用文，指具有指导作用的应用文，一般用于上级对下级的行文，如命令（令）、决定、决议、指示、批示、批复等。

2，报告性应用文，指具有报告作用的应用文，一般用于下级对上级的行文，如请示、工作报告、情况报告、答复报告、简报、总结等、

3，计划性应用文，指具有各种计划性质作用的应用文，常用于对某件事或某项工程等开始前的预计，如计划、规划、设想、意见、安排等。

二，依性质分

1，一般性应用文，指法定公文以外的应用文。一般应用文又可以分为简单应用文和复杂应用文两大类。简单应用文指结构简单、内容单一的应用文，如条据（请假条、收条、领条、欠条）请贴、聘书、文凭、海报、启事、证明、电报、便函等；

复杂应用文指篇幅较长，结构较繁、内容较多的应用文，如总结、条例、合同、提纲、读书笔记、会议纪要等。

2，公务文书又称为公文，它是指国家法定的行政公务文书。1964年中华人民共和国国务院秘书厅发布了《国家行政机关公文处理试行办法（倡议稿）》，在第二章中把公务文书规定为九类11种，即命令、批示、批转、批复（答复）、通知、通报、报告、请示、布告（通告）

三，依行业分

1，财经应用文。指各类只为财经工作所用的财经专业类文书，是专门用于经济活动的经济应用文体的统称。

财经应用文在内容和形式方面体现出两大特征：从内容方面来看，财经应用文是为解决某个特定的经济问题或处理某项具体的经济工作而撰写的文种，它的内容同经济活动有关，是经济活动内容的反映；

从形式方面来看，财经应用文大都有着固定的体式，带有一定的程式化特点。财经应用文又可分为：财税工作应用文，生产经营应用文，企业管理应用文，信息交流应用文等等。

2，银行应用文。是银行企业在日常经营工作中所使用的一类应用文文体，它是在处理和解决银行如存款、信贷、计划、核算、管理等具体工作而撰写的文种，它的内容同银行的资金运动有关，是银行经营活动内容的反映。

3，外贸应用文。是对外经贸企业专用的一门使用英语的应用文体。它是从事对外投资贸易工作的业务人员在沟通、处理和解决对外经贸的具体工作时一门用英文撰写的专业文种。

1，主题

每篇应用文都要围绕着一个主题展开。主题越是具体专一，应用文就越容易写出

2，为谁而写

私人信件为家人、朋友、爱人而写；商务信件为生意伙伴而写；广告为一般大众而写；海报为某一群人而写。了解了为谁而写，就可以使应用文的内容适度而得体，使你的信息能全面地传达给对方。

3，写作目的

4，文章的格式和结构
